Phase 4 of WoW WOTLK Classic is finally here, and it’s bringing with it a lot of exciting new content. Here’s a quick overview of the most important changes in the patch notes:
• Icecrown Citadel: The Lich King’s citadel is finally open, and it’s home to some of the most challenging bosses in the game.
• Random Dungeon Finder: The Random Dungeon Finder is finally coming to Wrath of the Lich King Classic. This will make it much easier to find groups for dungeons, especially at the lower levels.
• Titan Rune Dungeons: These dungeons are a step up from normal heroics, and they offer some of the best gear in the game.
• Account-Wide Mounts: All of your mounts will now be account-wide. This means that you can use them on any of your characters, regardless of which character you earned them on.
In addition to these major features, Phase 4 also includes a number of other changes and bug fixes. Here’s a more detailed look at what to expect:
Icecrown Citadel
Icecrown Citadel is a 14-boss raid that is home to some of the most challenging encounters in Wrath of the Lich King Classic. The raid is also home to some of the best gear or WOTLK gold in the game, including the Tier 10 set.
Random Dungeon Finder
The Random Dungeon Finder is finally coming to Wrath of the Lich King Classic. This will make it much easier to find groups for dungeons, especially at the lower levels. To use the Random Dungeon Finder, simply open the Dungeon Finder window and select the “Random” option. You will then be placed in a queue with other players who are also looking for a group. Once a group is formed, you will be automatically teleported to the dungeon.
Titan Rune Dungeons
Titan Rune Dungeons are a step up from normal heroics. They are more difficult, but they also offer better rewards. The Titan Rune Dungeons are:
Halls of Reflection
Forge of Souls
Pit of SaronTo access a Titan Rune Dungeon, you will need to have a Titan Rune. Titan Runes can be dropped from bosses in normal heroics or purchased from vendors in Dalaran.
Account-Wide Mounts
All of your mounts will now be account-wide. This means that you can use them on any of your characters, regardless of which character you earned them on. To use an account-wide mount, simply open the Mount Journal and select the mount you want to use.
Other Changes and Bug Fixes
In addition to the major features listed above, Phase 4 also includes a number of other changes and bug fixes. Here’s a more detailed look:
The level cap has been increased to 80.
The Argent Tournament has been released.
The Scourge Invasion event has been released.
A number of balance changes have been made to classes and spells.
